Band Of Brothers stars jump out of a plane for real

On Sunday August 21st 2011 in celebration of the 10 year anniversary of the epic mini-series, cast members of Band Of Brothers jumped out of a plane in aid of a special leadership monument in Normandy. The jump took place at Dunkeswell airfield in Devon, England.

Before and after the jump, the cast were also convoyed in military vehicles to Upottery Airfield (Smeatharpe) where a special 2 day military themed event called WINGS AND WHEELS was being hosted by the South West Airfields Heritage Trust.




Also attending the Upottery event and Dunkeswell were reenactors from all over Europe including the Easy Company reenactors of the 101st Airborne ‘Screaming Eagles'.
